Call casting, or call streaming if you may, mirrors the way Apple devices seamlessly hand off FaceTime calls. The leaked UI reveals a clean and intuitive design that is more refined compared to the previous UI. Your current device is displayed prominently, with the caller’s name, connection status, and call duration clearly visible. Most importantly, you’ll find options to “End Call”, “Switch Back” to a different device, and mute/unmute the call.
This development marks a significant leap toward a future where the frustration of dropped calls or awkward transitions between devices is a thing of the past for Google Pixel and other Android users. Imagine starting a Google Meet call on your Pixel phone, but then easily shifting it to your Pixel Tablet for a larger screen as you move to the couch. Cool, huh?
